What's the easiest way to get in contact with you?
As a local small business we keep pretty busy here at the studio, so if you don’t get ahold of us please leave a message and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

In an effort to increase productivity and efficiency we check our voicemails and messages twice daily (morning and afternoon).

I signed up and see a blank page? Did my registration go through?
Yes it probably did, check your email for a confirmation.  If you have not yet left the blank page try scrolling up. There is a glitch on our website when you register it resets to the bottom of the registration page. It totally appears to be blank but it’s really just the leftover space at the bottom of the website page.

Do you have a group discount?
Yes our in-studio private parties are at a discounted rate ($30 per person instead of our regular price $40 per person).  However, there is a 10 person minimum for pricing.  Click here for more information regarding our private event pricing and details.

Does The Loaded Brush provide drinking glasses?
Why yes, yes we do.

What should I expect in a Loaded Brush class?
At the Loaded Brush, everyone’s an artist! Spend time with friends, family or co-workers and sip on your favorite libation, as a professional artist leads you through a step-by-step process to paint a work of art you can take home at the end of a 2-3 hour class.

What if I’m not much of an artist?
Don’t worry about it! That’s what our instructors are here for. Never picked up a paint brush? Our instructors give you step-by-step instructions starting with which colors to put on your palette all the way through the final brush stroke.

What is the cost of a Loaded Brush class?
Our regular step-by-step painting classes are $40 per person and the Paint-Your-Pet Caricature Class is $50 per person.  For our Private Event information and pricing see ‘Booking a Private Party‘ or ‘TLB Comes to You‘.

What does that price include?
Practically everything! Canvas, paints, brushes, aprons, easels, instruction, bad jokes, etc…

Do I need to sign up in advance?
Yes, please! Classes fill up, so in order to make sure you get the one you want, sign up either online or give us a call at 503-468-5057.

What should I wear?
Come sassy and classy or in jeans and a t-shirt. This is your class, so wear anything you like! We provide aprons, but keep in mind that you might leave with a little paint on whatever you do decide to wear..

What’s the deal with BYOB?
We offer BYOB in our private parties at no additional charge (beer, wine, and cider only) and in our public classes we charge a $10 corking fee per group.  OLCC regulations are that in the state of Oregon you must have a designated server (the instructor of your class) open your wine bottle for you.

And of course you have to be 21. If you look under 26, and want to drink alcohol, we will card you. Even if you brought the bottle yourself.  Please drink responsibly and be respectful.

Do I need to bring anything?
Nope, just yourself!

What if I signed up, but can’t make it?
We get it, plans change, but we ask that if you do need to cancel, please give us as much notice as possible. We are unable to refund if you just don’t show up, but we are more than happy to reschedule you for another class as long as you let us know beforehand.

In the case that you do have to cancel with less than 48 hour notice you can reschedule for a fee.  The fee for less than 48 hour notice cancellation for a regular class is $15 and for our workshops and Paint-Your-Pet the fee is $20 with less than 5 days.

What if my Groupon is expiring soon?
After your Groupon is expired, we will accept them like you paid us cash. So if you paid $20 for a Groupon for 1 person, and it expired, you could pay an extra $20 and register for a $40 regular painting class.  Email the.loaded.helpdesk@gmail.com if you have more questions.

What do I do if my Groupon voucher code isn't working when I enter it in the Promotions Code box?
Check your expiration date, if your Groupon is expired the promotional code will also be expired (see question above about expired Groupons).  Also, check to see if you’re putting in the right code for your voucher number.  If you bought your Groupon after May 2014, it will be 8 capital letters like this “ABCDEFGH”. Why, when I'm trying to register, is it only letting me select 1 seat but I need 2?
On the event registration page, the number drop down box shows how many seats are left in the class.  If it is only giving you the option of 1 or 2 then it is because that is all that remains in that class.  If you have more questions just email us the.loaded.helpdesk@gmail.com.

Can I bring my child/a minor to The Loaded Brush?
Yes, minors are welcome if they are able to follow along with the class and aren’t disrupting other painters. If you have more questions just email us at the.loaded.helpdesk@gmail.com.

What is the parking situation like?
We have a small parking lot located right beside our studio and there is plenty of free on-street parking in our safe and well lit neighborhood.

Can I use my Gift Certificate for a Private Party?
Sure, gift certificates are good like cash!

I'm having trouble using multiple Promotion/Groupon/Gift Certificate codes in 1 transaction, what am I doing wrong?
Our booking system only allows 1 code per transaction.  If you have 2 groupon codes, both for 2 people, you would register the first 2 people with one code then go back and do a separate registration with other code for the other 2 people for a total of 4 seats and the use of 2 codes.  Same goes for Gift Certificates if you have 2 $40 gift certificates register 1 seat and use the first Gift Certificate code and go back and register the 2nd person with the other gift certificate.  If you are asked for your credit card information and you’re expecting your discount/gift certificates to cover the cost then your code must be wrong.  Double check your codes and try again.  If you’re still having issues give us a call or email and we’ll help you.
